Last August (2025) NASA issued a request for proposals for corporations, organizations and individuals to track and obtain telemetry from the Artemis II mission. On Jan 23, they announced the participants — half were academia, amateur organizations or individuals. This is another example for how citizen scientists can make meaningful contributions to space programs.
