InSimEd (Industry Simulation Education) Space Design Competitions are focused on aerospace engineering and space settlement.

They provide high school aged students in the Americas the unique opportunity to assume the roles you would find in an aerospace company, be mentored by industry professionals, and work on space settlement and infrastructure design briefs for space colonies that will exist 30-50 years in the future.

By participating in Regional Finals and other Mail-In Proposal Qualification activities, students have the opportunity to progress through to the International Space Settlement Design Competition (ISSDC) – held annually over the last weekend of July, at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
